Keeping up on the news

I keep trying to find the easiest way to complete a quick scan of news articles. iGoogle, Feedburner, Digg, and Google News Alerts all have their positives... but I am laaaaaaaazy and I want it reeeeeeeeeal easy.

Since I am easy distracted by shiny objects and favor graphical solutions to complex problems, I think I might have found a keeper... marumushi.com's newsmap.

Thanks to Cheryl for sharing.

  1. Here's my take on newsmap... I'll be interested to see what you think.

I found newsmap a year or so ago - thought it was just the coolest thing in the world. I especially liked the fact that you could customize it and only show the things you wanted to show. I customized it, showed some folks how cool it was, and sure enough the novelty wore off in about a week.

My opinion only of course, but nothing beats google news... news.google.com for a quick customized look at the big news stories.

There's just something about newsmap that drives me crazy after looking at it for 30 seconds.

Let me know what you think after a few weeks.
