Great way to seen were your user name, or your company's name is registered. I have only come across a few "false positives".

Also not a bad tool to gauge your depth of involvement in social computing as well as flagging a few site worth looking into.

Mashing up Facebook and MySpace

Have not used it much, but came across Sociagami - a tool to blend your Facebook and MySpace profiles. Seems to be at least moderately useful.

A Canadian study suggests business and marketing leaders believe social media is replacing traditional media.

46% of them said social media is more important than TV, radio, newspapers and magazines.

85% believe it has become a vital element in communication.

66% don’t think employees should be using it at work.
