OK, I am going to get off this list thing sometime soon, but a certain network's "countdown to the 12 days of Christmas" (that's right, a countdown TO a countdown) has inspired me.
So, here are 12 living fossils (no, Keith Richards is NOT featured). Worth a peek just to see the purple frog.... geez.

Buckypaper
While I am still a tad fuzzy on all the implications, the buckypaper thing looks like it will be something of significance down the road.
Still, "buckypaper"? Just not the type of name that a possible replacement for steel should have.
