CONTEST

As we all know, Mike (@officialpagan) has ominously lurked in the dark on Snarkalec Radio and nearly every other video chat.  Gerald, and many others, wonder what is behind him.

Now YOU can solve mystery for us and possibly win a prize!  Just draw, Photoshop, paint, decoupage... whatever you like... to show the world "What is Behind Mike?"  Once your masterpiece is completed, tweet is out with the hashtag #whatsbehindmike.  While not required, either @ mentioning Gerald (@geraldwebb) or me (@kellythul) will assist us in keeping track.

So, 3 Headed Shark Attack was a 3 headed AWESOME.  The cast and director were very interactive with those of us tweeting live.  Couldn't get much better, right?

Syfy is running a boatload of original movies starting July 18!

To honor this embarrassment of riches, several us long time so-bad-they-are-good movie fans (who just happen to have podcasts) will be doing special editions of their show 15 minutes after the movies.  This give us a chance to promote each other's shows and, most importantly, snark so-bad-they-are-good movies!!

There have been a few changes in the Thul multimedia juggernaut and I thought I would catch everyone up.

Snarkalec Radio 

After two extremely fun years, Snarkalec Radio ended in December. I really enjoyed doing the show with Tony (@tonysolo) and Mel, and then later with Tony and Mike (@officialpagan).  We had some awesome guests and awesome times.  It just came to the point where a weekly 90 minute live show was going to be tough for any of us to sustain.  Special thanks to Tony for asking me to join the crew when it all started.

Mike,Tony and I still recap the YouTube masterpiece "The Assistant" via a show called "Talking Assistant".  You can find both shows on Dylan Lange's Assistant playlist on his YouTube Channel.

Nurture and Support

Mel (@karmic9) and I continue to "share all the awesome" each Friday when we release the latest episode of the "Nurture and Support" podcast.  If you are not familiar, we share recommendations on books, apps, movies, TV shows, etc. - as well as social media recommendations.  You can connect with us via iTunes, Stitcher, and the shows will also run on Live 365's "Loud N Loaded" internet radio channel.

Bring Out Your Geek

Inexplicably, I have now also joined the "Bring Out Your Geek" videocast.  Why inexplicably??  

1. I have a face made for radio
2. The Bring Out Your Geek ringleader is Jeans (@yeungjeans) and she holds the title of NEMESIS OF THE STATE!
   
   As you all know, I am a gentle, kind person on social media.  With no provocation whatsoever, people are often mean to me and when they are, I list them as ENEMIES OF THE STATE!! via a Twitter list.  Those that are exceptionally evil are also added to the ULTRA ENEMIES OF THE STATE!! list.  The most vile earns the right to be placed on a one person list, the aforementioned NEMESIS OF THE STATE!   The aforementioned Jeans.

Nemesis thing aside, I'll be joining Jeans, Bronwyn (@shinybabyb), as well as that Mel character to talk movies, TV and the like.  I am very excited that Jeans and I decided to revisit The Walking Dead comic.  These episodes are coming out very soon and we will tackle 4-5 issues a show.

When ZNation is running, or when SyFy decides to give us a new original movie on a Saturday, Amy (@Amy_Glitters) and I will continue team up to provide a stream of hilarious puns.  At least we think so.  And... yes, I KNOW Amy is funnier.
